The As Seen on TV Stores Guide – What About As Seen on TV Grills and Accessories
The As Seen on TV Stores Guide – Overview:
Everybody loves to grill. Who doesn’t love the distinct flavor and smell of grilled meat and vegetables? Where I live, we grill on Thanksgiving and Christmas. It is a staple in many households. One of the challenges with grilling can be the space it requires, and the associated mess and hassle (smoke, ash, need for propane, etc.). So I decided to go out on the Internet and see if I could find some grills as seen on TV. You know the ones that I am talking about everybody has there own little infomercial selling the latest in grilling technology that is guaranteed to revolutionize the grilling industry. So I decided to go out and find a couple of these products and track down some specific information on them and also see what other consumers are saying about them.
There is certainly plenty of information out there on this topic, so I had to limit my initial research to only a couple of the grills. The grills I chose to evaluate are the Might Pro Grill, the GT Express 101, and the Grill Daddy Pro cleaning tool. All of them seem to be very well known products and finding information about them was easy.
The As Seen on TV Stores Guide – So What About It:
First we will start with the grill as seen on TV – the GT Express 101. By all appearances this little electric grill seems simple enough. Put the food into the grill press that has a non-stick coating and moments later, your hot meal is served. While I have never tried the press personally I was able to find many opinions about how other customers liked it. I have to tell you that most of them were unhappy. Some complained that the non-stick coating came off after 15 or 20 uses. Others weren’t happy with the customer service. So I would suggest that you but the product used and try it first. That way you won’t be out a whole lot of money if it does not work as advertised.
The next asseenontv grill that I took a look at was the Mighty Pro Grill. This is a nifty little piece of hardware that is actually designed to turn your standard stovetop into a grill. It has a unique design that allows you to take the apparatus and set on the top of a standard stove (kitchen or cooking) and use it to grill foods. This is especially nice for those days when the weather outside is not so good. You can fire up the stove (electric or gas) and slap the Mighty Grill Pro right on it. Grill away. This product received high marks…sounds like I just might have to try it.
The final item I reviewed this week was the Grill Daddy Pro. Don’t get confused by the cool name. While this is not your standard grill as seen on TV, it is a grill accessory that I am sure you have seen in a commercial or two. The idea is actually very unique…they created a grill brush that is designed for industrial grill scraping jobs. The unique handle and design allows the user to exert extra leverage when cleaning off their grill…very nice. Additionally, the tool is designed to spew steam at the grill to help break up the super tough spots. The only complaint I found about it was that the material is cheap. So if you buy one, make sure that you take care of it.
Hope I you found this information useful. If you find that you need more help, or have personally used these asseenonTV products, please leave us a comment and tell us how you liked them. Thanks!
